About Us

Maranatha Baptist Church was founded on October 19, 1980 by Bro. Van Williams who went on to pastor the work for the next 32 1/2 years.

On March 31, 2013 Pastor Williams retired from the pastorate and Bro. Chris Whitmer became the pastor of MBC.

Throughout the history of this work, MBC has remained faithful to the King James Bible and teaching Biblical principles for a victorious Christian life.

God has done a great work here at MBC, and continues to do so, working in and through the lives of His people.

MBC is the place to be. We are a warm, friendly, family oriented church that preaches and teaches the old-time religion from the King James Bible and sings the old-fashioned hymns of the faith.
